Who am I? I am a health promotion consultant with extensive experience in program
evaluation, applied research and group facilitation. My work with community, professional and government organizations across Canada
has grounded me in issues as diverse as mental health, environment, nutrition, home visiting, organ donation, caregiver support and chronic disease prevention.
It has covered the life span from prenatal care all the way to long-term care and end-of-life issues.
My passion and interest are not with any one
particular issue but with the process of collecting, making sense of and communicating information
in ways that are meaningful and result in better decision-making.
Clients recognize my ability to convey complex ideas in reader-friendly ways and seek me out to
produce newsletters, proposals, web pages and strategic plans. My ability to work in both French and English has
enabled me to coordinate national projects.
My approach is participatory and driven by a desire to promote learning,
wise planning and action. I have an MHSc, community health (Toronto) and a
BSc(FSc),
dietetics (McGill).
