I hope Blake doesn't mind: A few species that I personally find
interesting, MIA:

The entire Winter List Dec-Feb inclusive: Red Crossbill -- If this
holds, it will be the first winter in 16 without a single report for
NS. But do be careful. There are "lots" of White-winged Crossbills
around so if you didn't have it solidly in your binocs, best to let it
pass. They are likely in Cumberland Co. right now as they were in
Fundy Natl Park on the weekend.

DOW February List:
Saw-whet Owl -- If this holds, it will be first Feb in 5 years of
records without a report. Surely one is tending a feeder, for the
mice, somewhere ?

Mew (Common) Gull -- Ditto. None of you in Metro or CB are going to
pick up a Mew Gull ?
