=3B Hi=2C
&gt=3B
&gt=3B We were entertaining a visitor from the UK (=
a butterfly enthusiast) for the
&gt=3B past few days and one of the loc=
ations we visited were the trails and
&gt=3B boardwalks around Spectacl=
e Lake in Burnside Business Park. Although we saw
&gt=3B no butterflies=
we were able to introduce him to some typical flora of the
&gt=3B bogs=
in NS.
&gt=3B
&gt=3B We accessed the trails at the end of Garland A=
ve=2C after having driven by a
&gt=3B lot of construction (destruction?=
) vehicles where Garland makes a 90-degree
&gt=3B turn. At least one of=
the trails is closed due to construction activities.
&gt=3B
&gt=3B =
We enjoy visiting these trails and do so whenever we are in Burnside since =
&gt=3B Mike King alerted us to their existence a couple of years ago. I=
wonder if
&gt=3B anyone on this list knows what is going on in this ar=
ea and whether the
&gt=3B parkland itself is in peril?
&gt=3B
&g=
