Hello everyone:

Just got back from Halifax. There was a dead adult red-tailed hawk by
the side of Highway 101, a few kilometres on the Halifax side of Exit
4. Judging by the angle of the neck I'm guessing it went head-to-head
with a vehicle and lost. No bands.

It is currently in a plastic bag, cooling off in my freezer. Is there
any organisation (DNR, Museum, etc.) that would want this bird?

Pat
