Hi,
My daughter sent me some pictures she took of an adult male yellow-belli=
ed sapsucker
which was doing some terrirorial pounding on the empty plastic bird feeder =
hanging on=20
her back deck in Kentville.
At home I have had 1 white-throat sparrow & 1 Savanah sparrow in my yard=
along with
resident pair of song sparrows. The only previous sanannah I've seen here o=
ver the last
27 years was one found dead; presumably a cat casualty.
For my report last night of my sightings on the Salt Marsh Trail, I forg=
ot to mention the
woodcock that flew over my head at the trail head parking lot on Bisset Rd.
