When I arrived yesterday I was greeted by a singing male Red- winged Blackbird. It well may be from further inland, but it is certainly not from the local area, as we've not seen one all winter. This is about the time they first show up here and it was a welcome sight and sound! It's still here today. Sylvia Fullerton Broad Cove, Lun. Co.
