Index of Subjects Dean, You should contact Tonya Wimmer to see if anyone is interested in samples or the entire seal. NS Marine Animal Response Society 1-866-567-6277 I provide seal material to the New Brunswick Museum in Saint John or the Atlantic Veterinary College in PEI - neither of which are close to you. It is also a challenge for me to get them there but I opt for freezing until it can be delivered. The most recent dead seal I delivered to the NBM was a pregnant female about 5' in length as well and weighing in at 118kg or 260lbs! including the 6kg or 13lb fetus, needless to say it took up much of the freezer. I knew the seal was heavy when we lugged her up the beach.
