Discovered a dead seal on Daniel's Head Beach, CSI, this morning. A little over 5ft. in length, beautiful shiney gold coat. No visible injuries. Counted 9 more just off the beach on the "Brant Ledges". This is the second one in this area in less than a year. The one last year was small, only a little better than 2ft. I collected the jaw-bone from that one. Does anyone out there know if you can turn these in to be studied anywhere? Like years ago. I might collect the latest one too.
