I think Chris that you are correct in everything that you say, but there is 
one thing that always needs to be remembered - when you get something as 
obvious as the case in favor of climate change there are always some people 
that  go to extremes. Personally, with the thought of winter coming I would 
be quite happy to see a little global warning.
