Sparrow, Lincoln's Sparrow, and Dark-eyed Junco (with Yellow-rumped = As with Wayne Neily I found Mourning Warblers quite common on the Cape Breton Highlands. On the mainland I had a typical number on my Trafalgar Breeding Bird Survey, and I've also encountered them on brief forays into Cumberland County and Lunenburg County. They've always been more scarce in HRM, but I've had a couple, including one in Prospect. So perhaps they are just more scarce at the edge of their range in the province?
