This page contains my Chevette History: The vetts I had / Have and what I plan to do with them.

Chevettes that I have or Had in chronoligocal Order:
This car was bought for $2000 and Wayne Marcott drovee it for 9 years untill november 1998 when the safty ran out.

I drove it untill september 1999 when I then took it apart for the purpose of building the CancerWagon, I still have the engine in my shed, it origonally was from the CancerWagon anyway.

Year: 1987
RIP 1999

Name: Betsy

LO: Wayne M.

C of D: Rust.

The CancerWagon, The name came by one afternoon while the car still looked normal but really old in October 1999

Jonothan Fawcett said one day after riding in it: "This car hasn't been proved to cause cancer, but someday It will be."  nearby yelled "CancerWagon!"

The paint Job and modifications were done by myself on my spare time. It had a automatic and went 150 KPH on any day.

Year: 1980
RIP: 2000

Name: CancerWagon

LO: Chris W.

C of D: Rust and lack of time

I bought this "THING" for $200, replaced the entire exhaust, brake system, 4 ball joints, seering wheel, gas tank, soon to be engine & tranny, front frame in a part, radiator, starter, wipers, driver's door, steering coloum (from betsy) lightbulbs, right mirror, drivers seat, windshield mirror, glove box cover Differential, horn, rear hatch, locks, etc.

I put 10000 kilometers on 'er in 6 months, and there are 6 more on the safety sticker to go I'm currently doing major repairs, (replaceing the rear end)

Year: 1985
Not mobile
Name: Kenny
LO: Corey LLoyd

Currently has a cracked block. Corey took this car in trade for doing repairs to my 78, I had no time to repair the extranious amount of problems that kept popping up.
This car was bought purely for the parts.
I cut the roof off before I actually took any parts off it. It ran but not well so I gave the engine away.

After cutting the roof off (with garden shears and Jonothan T.'s help) I got it running better and burned a few tires off of it.

The park brake still works at the time of this picture being taken
-September 2000

Year: unshure
RIP: 2000

Name: none

LO: Covertable

C of D: Various reasons. Was just a parts car

To quote James Carrol "As much as I want to make fun of it, I have to say that I think looks cool" -WOTS 2000

I bought this for $450 and got a spare transmition and clutch with it. This is my favorite Chevette Next to the Wagon.

It goes 140 KPH but @ redline because its only a 4 speed stick. 150000 and still going strong.

It had 235/50 R13 tires before I bought it. The previous owner drops by from time to time to say "Hi."

-September 2000

Year: 1978
Expected to last 'till 2005

Name:
"The car formally known as slow."

LO: Chris W.

I like it.

Chevettes that I  want to have. In no particular Order:

The Vettemozine. I made this image in photoshop 5 in school for a project. I wanted to see what The CancerWagon Would look like stretched out.

I have been quasi famous for this image locally.

The "Hummerette" once seen on the 'Halifax Forsale' Usenet News Gruop

Everybody would love to have this. It's a 1980-82 2 door chevette ploped on top of a Nisan 4X4 chassis.

Very Nice.

I have since contacted the owner, he wants $2000(cdn) or a 4wheeler for it, but it was not in good shape when I tracked it's location down. I intent to acquire this in the summer, legally.

No bullshit here, A real one of these was once made, but alas the front axle broke. It flipped over as a result on the 1/4 mile.

That's all I really know about it.

This image got squished, but this is a Vauxhal Chevette HSR Turbo. 2.3 liter 4 cyl, 5 speed, and FAST. 235/50 R13 tires.

Drool.

This is the Vauxhall BLACK MAGIC chevette, fast luxurious, leather interior. It woud be a jaw dropper in here in Nova Scotia.
