Three bedrooms, 2 baths and graphics studio. Heat storage slab with backup prefab metal "Bis" fireplace with hot air tied directly to the heat storage system. Backup heat is hotwater coil from the DHW tank. Also is roughed-in for active solar. The building wraps around a hillock showing off a design in a very challenging environment. Water supply is a local spring. The house features modern style and decor, and Koa the malamute will be welcoming us. House No. 2, Beth & John 2365 sq. ft of finished floorspace, 743 sq ft unfinished, heated space. Heat storage slab with freestanding woodstove backup and secondary backup is hotwater coil from the DHW tank, with active solar Thermo Dynamics DHW system; collector array is mounted on a storage shed & greenhouse and storage shed. Depressions in the slab hold granite boulders and hot tub in an atrium. Built-in garage is being used as a woodworking shed. Main bathroom and master bedroom are on one level for accessability and installation of a lift is designed in. The pot-luck will be in the second home; there's a microwave, electric range & oven for heating your gustatory delights.
