Another personal note... Hi Marni!

We've always had a couple of diehard CCN users in our family (email
only). My Mom is the last person to get email in our family... and what
does she get... hotmail. One of my sisters continues to use CCN because
she always had an is2 account. The other one has converted to hotmail.

I tend to think that the biggest impediment is ease of use (for PINE).
The other email programs are much easier to use, no cumbersome keystrokes
to remember....

Is it just me or does it take a certain level of user sophisication to
appreciate a text interface? Even though I have Internet Email access
via Groupwise at work, I still continue to use my good ole UNIX shell
account with PINE. I like the portability.
