Monday, 7 August 2006We spent the afternoon ashore. Following the stream, the crew discovered an excellent, deep bathing pool, and with heightened curiosity we scrambled and bushwhacked our way up through some dense growth. Finally coming out on open ground, we followed caribou paths, and soon arrived at the edge of a good-sized pond on the broad low rolling plateau land. |
