While putting out the garbage this evening a large tern was coursing back a=
nd forth in front of my house in LaHave. It had a large solid black cap wi=
th a large orange bill and was about double the size of a common tern. Ther=
e was black along the wing edges so maybe a juvenile. I did not have my bi=
noculars. I watched it with my binoculars for a bit. Stupid of me not to =
have taken the camera down with me. I later went out with the camera to tr=
y and capture a photo=2C but it was quite far out and it headed in the dire=
ction of Riverport. I believe this was either a Caspian tern or a Royal Te=
rn. =20
