Cherry Hill Beach was not at all crowded with people on Sunday, unlike
nearby Rissers Beach, or Crescent Beach.

We arrived at high tide, so no shorebirds were in evidence, except for a
family group of six Piping Plover at the far western end of the beach.
This one pair, at least, had a productive nesting, though the four young
were still many days away from fledging.  But this may be the only pair on
the beach.

There were only two gulls along the beach, both Ring-billed Gulls.

Very quiet otherwise.
