Monday evening as I was walking home after work (it had been a warm sunny afternoon), I heard a Cardinal singing near Conrose Field in south end Halifax. There is a pair in the area which I have seen. Also, twice in the last two weeks I have heard Dark-eyed Juncos trilling. It was nice to hear these voices added to the Song Sparrows, who have been singing for more than a month now. Patricia L. Chalmers Halifax
