We were within shouting distance today, Jim (I was over in the Sambro 
Head & West Pennant area), and I also saw quite a few Yellow-Collared 
Scape moths but also saw a single Virginia Ctenucha.

No ringlets seen today. Of the five species seen today the "big" 
butterfly of the day was a total of 23 Monarchs...the most Monarchs 
I've seen in a single day in 5 years (since my time in TX)! There 
were 17 different individuals (counted by walking upwind while the 
butterflies were moving downwind) at West Pennant alone. All were 
very fresh and more than 75% were females...

Still, I get the feeling I should've gone to White Point...
