A major movement of Monarchs apparently reached the Maritimes last =
week. This could lead to Monarchs breeding in the maritimes so start =
watching milkweed patches for the colorful larvae. Along with the =
monarchs could be other migrant species such as the American Snout =
butterfly found by Kathleen Spicer last week. As well as butterflies a =
large number of migrant dragonflies have arrived including many Spot =
Winged Gliders, Common Green Darners and a possible Painted Skimmer.
