Monarchs certainly have arrived in numbers this past week. In addition to t=
he sightings posted on this Listserv I've received a number of reports from=
NB and NS over the past 10 days, and I saw my first Monarchs of the year o=
n June 27. Prior to last week I'd received only a handful of Monarch report=
s. =0AIt appears to be a very good year for the Monarch population of easte=
rn North America (the population that overwinters in Mexico), so I expect w=
e'll be seeing higher than normal Monarch numbers all summer. Keep your eye=
s out for eggs and caterpillars on milkweed!=0AFor more information on this=
