Hi Eleanor,

How about Eastern Comma? We have had up to 3 flying around on sunny =
days in the front yard - seem to prefer trees to flowers....? May be we =
can trade images?

While I am familiar with quite a few butterflies, I have had many =
sightings around my property of one I can't identify. What's frustrating =
is that I think it is likely a very common one, but I have had no =
success trying to find it on several butterfly sites.

The upper part of the wings is a goldeny-orange, tapering down to =
brown. The upper part has several black/dark brown spots, (one =
rectangular, the others round). I can also provide a picture if wanted.
