We have had up to 3 flying around on sunny = days in the front yard - seem to prefer trees to flowers....? May be we = can trade images? Bob McDonald Halifax ----- Original Message -----=20 From: Eleanor Lindsay=20 To: NatureNS=20 Sent: Thursday, July 05, 2012 8:33 AM Subject: [NatureNS] Butterfly ID requested While I am familiar with quite a few butterflies, I have had many = sightings around my property of one I can't identify. What's frustrating = is that I think it is likely a very common one, but I have had no = success trying to find it on several butterfly sites. The upper part of the wings is a goldeny-orange, tapering down to = brown. The upper part has several black/dark brown spots, (one = rectangular, the others round). I can also provide a picture if wanted. Eleanor Lindsay Seabright, St Margarets Bay No virus found in this message.
