Bully tactics. I don't recall anyone making, imposing, or trying to make up rules here. At least not in recent days. All I can recall here on NatureNS were requests, some even accompanied by reasons. > A lady recently posted about her desire to have location in the posts. Words used were "Could make an effort" and "Thanks". Not exactly what falls under rule making in my books, or even worse to qualify and brand someone as being a bully. You talk about "cyber bullies" and "bully tactics". For me a lot of your write up above falls into this category. Very well suited to shut people up, or make them into something they are not. I don't know what kind of communication happened outside NatureNS between you and other folks, some of it may fit the bill of bullying, but I can only build my opinion on what I see out here in public. As far as the rest goes, what are reports of sightings worth if readers have no clue where and when they happened. As I said before we don't need to reveal exact location and whereabouts, we heard about examples where this backfired in the past, but Nova Scotia is big enough to desire some geographical references to appreciate reports and make them useful information. Apart from this everyone should be free to post as much or as little as he or she feels, as long as it is appropriate in contents and tone. This is not a rule. its my opinion and what I consider good manners.
