Yesterday, September 5, I searched the Northumberland Strait and Georges Bay
for southern coastal vagrants including Merigomish, Arisaig, Doctor's Brook,
Malignant Cove, Livingstone's Cove, Ballantynes Cove, Cribbons Point,
Jimtown, and Monk's Head. None were found.

I enjoy seeing the "wild" rock pigeons nesting on the red cliffs of Monk's
Head. Their population is currently up to 15.
