Hi Folks:

Nick and I went out for a drive to Sandy Cove to see the Kentucky Warbler. We met up with Liz, Fulton and Don who reported not seeing it. We also tried, no sighting anywhere.

However, at the entrance to the Marine Research site, we spotted and took photographs of a Matuwes (Erethizon dorsatum-Porcupine) sitting in a spruce tree. There were also Goldfinches, Robins, Starlings, BC and boreal Chickadees, BB Gulls, Herring Gulls, one black duck and we could hear a Ring Necked Pheasant.

I will post pictures of the Matuwes later on.

Tuma and Nick
