 Hi All=2C
 About a month ago I linked to some photos of a swallow & thrush and asked =
for ID confirmation.=20
 I thought the thrush was a Hermit but it had some features of Gray-cheeked=
 and/or Bicknell's. The other was a Barn Swallow that had features of the E=
urasian Barn Swallow.  =20
   The consensus on the thrush was that it was a young Hermit although it d=
oes have some Bicknell's/Gray cheeked features.=20
   The only response I got for the swallow was from Ian McLaren who thought=
 the bird had features that would indicate it could be the Eurasian subspec=
ies (rustica). He offered to send the photos to the N.A. Advanced Birding D=
iscussion Group for further analysis. The photos brought only a couple of c=
omments which said the bird was most likely a North American bird and the f=
eatures noted could indicate either species.=20
   Ian has decided that the swallow is probably a young North American Barn=
 Swallow.  =20

   And so I have my answers. Thanks to all who offered an opinion.=20
   Here is a link to the original photos for those who are interested.

   All the best.
