Hi,

I did my usual Thursday morning swing by Port George, on the Fundy Shore,
today. As expected, there were 12 Harlequin Ducks quite close in. Tide was
high and viewing conditions were good, but apart from a few Herring and GBB
Gulls, I saw NO other birds on the water. A few years ago late Feb. would
have been excellent for Scoter, Eider, Loons, Grebes etc. Has anyone elso
noticed this, or is it just a fortuitously birdless morning?

And if anyone has Port George in their Atlas Square, there was a pair of
adult Bald Eagles circling around above a woodlot just east of the village,
one of which was carrying a stick - presumably nest-building.
