Subject: [NatureNS] Port George this morning

  Hi,

I did my usual Thursday morning swing by Port George, on the Fundy =
Shore, today. As expected, there were 12 Harlequin Ducks quite close in. =
Tide was high and viewing conditions were good, but apart from a few =
Herring and GBB Gulls, I saw NO other birds on the water. A few years =
ago late Feb. would have been excellent for Scoter, Eider, Loons, Grebes =
etc. Has anyone elso noticed this, or is it just a fortuitously birdless =
morning?

And if anyone has Port George in their Atlas Square, there was a pair =
of adult Bald Eagles circling around above a woodlot just east of the =
village, one of which was carrying a stick - presumably nest-building.

  Richard
