Hi all,

A couple of talks, one this afternoon and the other Thursday night,
might be of interest:
- The Faculty of Science presents the lecture, "Current State and
Future Prospects for Marine Ecosystems" by Dalhousie Professor Boris
Worm. The lecture takes place Tuesday, Sept. 29, 4 p.m. in the Great
Hall of the University Club. All are welcome.

- Andrew Weaver, Canada Research Chair at the University of Victoria,
presents the Ransom A. Myers Lecture in Science and Society. His topic
is "Global Climate Change and Implications for Canada." Thursday,
Oct. 1, 7:30 p.m. in Ondaatje Hall, Marion McCain Building.

Cheers,

Andy Horn, Halifax
