June 27, 2009 12:5 This is a multi-part message in MIME format. --Boundary_(ID_iQlDp7p5nHfkJWEOQ4EhMQ) Content-type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT I've uploaded 32 recent photos to my Pbase for August 09. All of the photos have commentary attached so I need not repeat those comments here. Of particular interest is my experience at Duncan's Reef with a Semipalmated Sandpiper that was in company with a bunch of Least Sandpipers. The interesting part was that the adult Semipalmated Sandpiper was the same size, perhaps a tad smaller, than the accompanying Least Sandpipers. This led me off on a "wild goose chase", until it was pointed out that my bird had webbing between its toes. No matter how long I bird I still forget to check the most basic details. The lesson here is that don't go by relative size alone! http://www.pbase.com/snahmoot/image/115831073 _________________________________ Hans Toom Portuguese Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada Website: http://hanstoom.com _________________________________ --Boundary_(ID_iQlDp7p5nHfkJWEOQ4EhMQ) Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" http-equiv=Content-Type> <META name=GENERATOR content="MSHTML 8.00.6001.18812"> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>I've uploaded 32 recent photos to my Pbase for August 09.
