As for the tick "season", adult blacklegged ticks have already begone =
appearing and will remain active until June with a new generation of =
adults appearing in late summer -early fall. During the summer months you =
should also take care particularly in the established areas because this =
is the time of year when the nymph stage of the BLT is the most active. =
This life stage is also capable of transmitting the Lyme bacteria and is =
much smaller only 1-3 mm in size.
