Hi there, On the Victoria Day weekend in May, people dip-net for Gaspereau at the falls in the Barrington River, right next to the Barrington Woolen Mill. I have seen this twice, when coming back from the Bird Society's long weekend field trip on Bon Portage Island. This was true in the late 90's (Gosh, that long ago - I'm overdue for a spring visit to BPI!). I thought it was pretty neat. Perhaps Roland McCormick can give more complete information. Cheers, Patricia L. Chalmers Halifax
