Hi there,

Margaret Millard's welcome note about hearing Spring Peepers at
White Point on April 3rd caught my attention. I will soon be doing
some owl surveys again this spring, and hearing Spring Peepers and
Wood Frogs is very much a part of that nocturnal experience. John
Gilhen is interested in all herp reports: I believe he continues to
maintain all amphibian and reptile records at the Nova Scotia Museum
of Natural History.

I'd like to suggest that other owl surveyors make note of the frogs
which they hear in their surveys and pass on those observations, with
their locations, to John whose email is <GILHENJA@gov.ns.ca>

	Cheers,

	Patricia L. Chalmers
	Halifax
