Hi there,

I will soon be doing some owl surveys again this spring, and hearing
Spring Peepers and Wood Frogs is very much a part of that nocturnal
experience. Last year John Gilhen was interested in some of my
incidental herp reports: he continues to maintain all amphibian and
reptile records at the Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History. John
wrote that he was very interested in all amphibian and reptile
observations from anywhere in east Halifax and Guysborough counties,
since most of his own previous work east of Halifax has been on the
St. Mary's River.

I'd like to suggest that other owl surveyors make note of the frogs
which they hear in their surveys and pass on those observations, with
their locations, to John whose email is <GILHENJA@gov.ns.ca>

	Cheers,

	Patricia L. Chalmers
	Halifax
