December 6, 2008 - mid afternoon The female Summer Tanager was seen on Waegoltic Ave in Halifax. I was there early this morning and did not see it so I waited for the temperate to rise a bit. It appeared to the delight of many birders. Many thanks to Patricia Chalmers and Lauren Banks for sharing the news with Nature NS Cheers Liz Doull
