It was a great day for birding the Eastern Shore. The Snowy Owl was still on Devil's Island as well as a dark morph Rough-legged Hawk. The second Snowy Owl was not seen but a man was walking three dogs near the spot Mike mentioned.

At the end of Murray Rd in Eastern Passage there is a large number of Common Mergansers as well as some Hooded Mergansers.

There are 2 American Coots at Bissett Lake but I still have not seen the Northern Shoveller.

A Great Blue Heron was still hanging around at Cole Harbour where Ross Rd meets the Cole Hbr Rd.

I had a close look at a Red-throated Loon at the end of Causeway Rd.

There were 5 male Surf Scoters at Grand Desert and 10 Green-winged Teal at West Chezzetcook.

And the weather was perfect.
