Hi all

A few weeks ago, I was talking to Penny (Roy) Graham who operates =
Mariner Cruises and asked her if we could use Chum which attracts =
jaegers, skuas, kittiwakes, etc - recalling my first NSBS pelagic trip =
which was really exciting. We had kittiwakes and jaegers flying up =
close to us so it was something we would never forget. Lots of =
photographic opportunities, too. Penny/ Roy would not use chum if we =
share the boat with tourists/ nonbirders. If we charter a boat, then we =
would be able to use chum and chase birds wherever we wish. Last year, =
we used bread, which was ineffective. What do you think? Thanks. liz
