Hi there all. Around my house in Windsor, a farmer has cut his fields and baled the hay. Since this happened in the last week, there have been two hawks of which I am positive are not red tailed. I've narrowed it down to three according to my Stokes book.: 1 ) red shouldered 2) broad winged 3) rough legged The pair of them circle with not a lot of wing flapping. They pull thier wings in tighter to move faster, often flipping and changing direction very quickly. THey have a distinct cry that alerts me that they are flying overhead. I finally took the binoc. out with me today and am going to try to get a better description from underneath. If anyone is in Windsor, the fields are by the Superstore and run behind the hospital. Over and out! Angela -- Angela Joudrey aljoudrey@eastlink.ca Life is too short to dance with ugly men.
