They don't appreciate fresh carcasses, however, even = after they have been covered in straw, because of the smell. It is = fenced so no one walks away with souvenirs. Some of the flesh that was = on a fin whale skeleton put in the compound in October 2003 has dried to = very stiff "jerky".
