Index of Subjects One year when I trimmed the limbs off our Christmas tree at the end of our celebrations I was surprised to find that we had a robin nest in our Christmas tree that year. Usually I don't think birds will refurbish and use an old nest - I have been told it is because there are usually insects of some kind in the old nest.
