Dorothy Poole and I had a wonderful day out birding. Thanks to Ethelda in =
Pubnico for sharing her house wren with us. It was a life bird for me. Th=
e Tern Boat trip was also wonderful and allowed close comparison of the com=
mon, arctic and roseate terns. A rare treat indeed and I would recommend i=
t to anyone who has not gone for next year. =20

On the way there on the 103 if you are coming from the direction of Liverpo=
ol, you will run into construction with lights at either end where they are=
fixing the bridge by the Shelburne Exit. A young male indigo bunting was =
singing from high in a tree almost beside Tim Hortons. Does that sound lik=
e a commercial or what? Anyhow, for anyone in the are the rough GPS co-ord=
inates are 3110995 4849315 for NAD83.

We had a wonderful LEP day at one location, with American Copper, White Adm=
iral, Great Spangled Fritillary, Silver-border Fritillary (It flew before I=
could get a pic, a first for me), European Skipper and Peck's Skipper. Th=
ere were other species there also, but they did not stay still long enough =
to id. Pearl Crescent or Northern Crescent was also there. =20
