I saw that report as well.  I'm pretty sure it mentioned that there was =
an adult pair of albino ravens seen in that area last summer, and the =
report speculated that the five ravens, two of them albinos, were =
offspring of the two adult albinos.  Perhaps one of the geneticists on =
this list could comment on whether that speculation might be right.  =
Would two albino ravens producing five offspring give a ratio of two =
albinos and three "normal" birds?  I know there is a possibility that =
not all the offspring survived, so the 2-3 ratio might not be right.
