Index of Subjects --0-1488773204-1212243481=:72548 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Today, here on Glenwood Ave. I have seen, for the first time this season, a Gray Catbird. I saw one only very occasionally last summer & one (actually 2 but one got eaten by something!) the year before that stayed around from early March until the end of May when it suddenly disappeared. They always seem to be rather shy and elusive but hope it stays around for awhile. Very distinctive looking bird, with it's black cap on slate grey & the chestnut area on it's underside and the way it flicks its tail while running on the ground.
