Hi All, Another good day at the feeders with a number of good observation=
s; 23 species in all. The highlights were a pair of Rose-breasted Grosbeaks=
, two White-crowned Sparrows, three Bobolink (the first I've seen at my hou=
se in three years) and most curiously a Purple Martin (probably a 1st summe=
r bird). Below I've linked to a few video captures of the Martin. I was=
able to approach closely but the gray sky background made for some dark ph=
otos. The bird looked very wet and tired. Interestingly this is not a new y=
ard bird for me as I observed a Purple Martin here on June 17, 2001. http:/=
