Our Juncos have been back for awhile and my neighbor to the west had a Robin last tuesday.
head of jeddore at the feeders now are Bluejay, Junco, American Tree Sparrows, Chickadee, Red breasted Nuthatch, Mourning doves, a few Common Redpoll, fewer Pine Siskin and noisy characters that I have yet to see up close are hammering and piping to each other they're sizable so Hairy Woodpecker rather than downy I believe...Also Rock Dove, American Crow, Starling and myriad seagulls....

Cheers, Jan Foley
Head of Jeddore

Subject: [NatureNS] Robin and Junco

On Thursday, a student came into my office and said that she had just seen an AMERICAN ROBIN on campus (StFX). I went out to the typical spring robin spots, but didn't see it for myself.

Yesterday, we had our first Junco at our feeders in Fairmont, Ant. Co...the first since the autumn.

Randy
