Hi, all-

I have a graph on my fridge showing the long-term average daily 
temperatures at Shearwater airport, just south of Dartmouth. Yesterday 
and today (Feb.8) are at the bottom of the temperature curve for that 
site. Starting tomorrow, the temperatures begin their long slow climb 
out of the depths. Spring is on the metaphorical horizon.
