Dear All, Nov 25, 2007
Today at Palmeter Woods _Daphne_ plants stood out prominently;
shrubs with yellow leaves on a background of mostly brown shed
leaves/needles. In open woods, they were evident from 200 paces.
Near one location, where I had previously been aware of one clump, I
counted 35 and later saw many more. I don't recall having noticed this
previously and wonder if _Daphne_ leaves have been held on longer this
year than normal.
