Hi Everyone,

My name is Paul Murray and I'm new to your nature information posting =
service. My wife Patricia and I recently returned home to Nova Scotia =
from New Brunswick where I had been working for New Brunswick Power for =
the past 27 years. I was a member of the Saint John Naturalists Club =
and regular contributor to their version of your email posting service =
for bird sitings and other nature events of interest. I am an avid bird =
photographer and, since retiring, I spend a good part of my time chasing =
down shorebirds primarily, ducks and others as I may discover them. I =
am especially interested in Piping Plovers. I live in Dartmouth close =
to Cole Harbour and its wealth of nature trails. =20

I have just begun my explorations of the area and I'd like to jump right =
in and start contributing my bird sitings to NatureNS. I walked the =
Salt Marsh Trail today at low tide and noted the following species:

Lesser and Greater Yellowlegs (30-40)
Black-bellied Plover (30-40)
Canada Geese (>200 in one flock)
Dunlin (12 - but not 100% sure due to distance and lighting)
Willet (1)
Great Blue Heron (25-30)
