Our now flock of Orioles is still growing
1 1st year (M) Bullock's
2 (F), 3 (imm M), 1 Adult (M) Balt. Orioles for a total of at least 7 =
Lots and lots of action now but for the firt time that I can remember =
the Rare bird (Bull. Or) is the boss and the common birds (Balt. Or) are =
regularly kept from feeding.

B. Grosbeak (f) still @ the feeders

2 Dickcissels @ the feeders intermittently

Just before Noel went through I recieved reports of a Vulture and =
yesterday got only a distant glimpse of the bird. I thought it to be a =
Black but wasn't sure so I waited for anothe view before reporting it. =
Well today after responding to a call of a Buzzard on the plant roof I =
was ably to follow and photograph a miserabley tattered Black Vulture. =
It's been arround the same area for ~ a week now.

Hooded Mer. in the Chaple Gully are very rare for this area.

Pine Warblers at several locations 4 they were the only post Noel =
Warblers I've seen.

WW Crossbills every where

A few flocks of Waxwings in the area and atleast 1 flock of them (20-25) =
are B. Waxwings.
