After several tries, I finally got some target birds today. At 09:00 there was a Buff-breasted Sandpiper and an American Golden Plover by the green close to the corner of the road. Neither were particularly perturbed by some golfers that hit approach shots and then putted close to them. A Baird's Sandpiper at Smelly Cove found by Alan Covert. A Stilt Sandpiper at Dottie's Pond which only stayed for a brief time. Two Whimbrel at Dottie's Pond. Don Don MacNeill donmacneill@eastlink.ca
