Dear All, Aug 26, 2007 We had an impressive beetle at the light last evening, a male Northeastern Sawyer (Monochamus notatus (Drury)) with an antenna spread, when transverse, of about 14 cm. As usual it was quite tame and prepared to clamber along arms. Two other sightings for which I have records were also in late August; Aug 24, 1969 and Aug 27, 2002 both in Kentville. Yt, DW, Kentville
